MRI Technologist 8D
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic radiography and MRI scans while ensuring proper patient positioning and equipment preparation. They also maintain department documentation, assist with patient transport, and support ACR accreditation efforts.
The MRI Technologist interprets physician’s orders and performs diagnostic radiography and MRI Scans, demonstrating expertise in use of equipment. Prepares equipment, correctly positions patients, and applies proper techniques for procedures. Prepares required reports and documentation, maintains work area, and assists in other support activities for department, such as transporting patients. Works with department administration to get MRI services accredited with the American College of Radiology (ACR) and State License as required.
