Sterile Processing Technician (Certified) - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Full Time Evening position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or designee.
• Area of responsibility to include Decontamination, Prep and Pack, tray assembly, sterilization and other duties as assigned.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, sterilization techniques and procedures, infection control and work flow principles and requirements: demonstrates and exercises responsible judgment to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Knowledge of procedure policies and regulations concerning sterile techniques preferred.
• MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE One year experience in Central Supply preferred.
• REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS Sterile Processing Certification or Certified Surgical Technologist Certification required.
• Surgical Tech Experience Preferred Current BCLS (CPR) required.
