The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations and specialized procedures such as biopsies and needle localizations. They also ensure equipment maintenance, perform quality assurance testing, and maintain accurate patient records.
This position is responsible for producing high quality mammographic images and all special examinations necessary, i.e., needle localizations, radiography of specimens, spot magnifications and stereotactic biopsies. This position is also responsible for performing quality assurance activities as established by the department and regulatory agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
ARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - Knowledge of radiologic technique as normally acquired through completion of a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent. ARRT registered in radiography. ARRT M - Mammographer Required Equivalent Experience - Obtain ARRT mammography certification within one year of hire date BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
Degree in Healthcare Related Field. Knowledge of radiologic technique as normally acquired through completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered or registry eligible in mammography within 6 months of hire required.

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field and be ARRT registered in Radiography. Additionally, ARRT mammography certification is required or must be obtained within one year of hire, along with current BLS certification.
