Thinking: Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting. Plan to be on your toes at all times. You use your mind constantly. You apply your "core" skills to monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. There's a lot to track and manage and the joy comes in witnessing how your care impacts patients' lives.

What you can expect: Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate outpatient setting. Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. You will work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required Current CPR certification required IV certification required if required by state regulations High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required) DaVita is a clinical leader!
