Speech Pathologist

About the role

The Speech Pathologist evaluates patients across all age groups to determine the necessity of speech, language, or oral pharyngeal intervention. They are responsible for initiating appropriate assessments and therapy plans based on physician orders.

  • Day (United States of America) Speech Pathologist The SLP evaluates pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and medical history to determine appropriateness of speech/language/oral pharyngeal intervention and, if indicated, initiates the proper assessment and therapy per receiving physicians order.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology Program/Communication Disorders.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Possesses knowledge and skills to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to manage patient care independently.
