Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs work related to the care and treatment of the patients in the GI room.
Assures availability of instrumentation and supplies required for the surgical procedure prior to the case.
Participates in GI room set up, turnover, cleaning, and restocking.
Maintains sterile technique in opening of surgical supplies and instrumentation.
Cleans, prepares and decontaminates GI scopes and equipment.
Provides for aseptic technique throughout surgical procedure in a safe, efficient manner.
Observes, recognizes, and anticipates common surgical complications, and assists with emergency care as needed. Reports unusual conditions to the RN.
Possesses general knowledge of equipment and supplies.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a BCLS certification. A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Endoscopic Suite is required.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.35-30.85, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
