Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements

  • One year work experience in the acute hospital setting preferred. Experience in diagnosing and treating swallow disorders. Ability to analyze test results to determine patients’ communicative abilities and to determine necessary therapy. Completion of Master’s Degree required in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution. License to practice speech pathology by the California State Board of Medical Examiners and Certificate of clinical competence (ASHA) or a RPE/CFY applicant supervised by licensed Speech Pathologist following State and ASHA guidelines Current BLS Certificate required.
