Posting Date 08/12/2026 3820 N College Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46205-2755, United States of America DaVita is seeking a Float Patient Care Technician who is looking to make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Some details about this position:
3+ years of health care experience in a clinical/hospital environment is required - Dialysis experience is strongly preferred.
Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
Comfortable floating across 14 clinical locations within the Greater Indianapolis area.
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - shift times will start as early as 4:00AM; no overnight scheduling, no Sundays. What you can expect:
Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Educate patient on kidney disease.
Technician Duties: To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
Working on a cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN. What We'll Provide:
