Radiologic technologist – interventional / Vascular access (Outpatient asc)

Location: Fort Wayne, IN | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays

Why this role matters

Are you a skilled Radiologic Technologist wanting to be more than “just the x‑ray person”—one whose work directly supports life‑saving vascular access procedures for dialysis patients? In our outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), your precision, imaging expertise, and commitment to radiation safety are central to patient outcomes and clinical excellence. We’re looking for a motivated RT who values autonomy, team collaboration, and the opportunity to grow in a specialized interventional environment.

  • What you’ll do (Key responsibilities)
  • Perform fluoroscopic imaging and radiographic procedures under physician order, using C‑arm and other imaging modalities
  • Assist during interventional vascular procedures (e.g. fistulograms, angioplasties, catheter placements)
  • Set up procedural trays, maintain sterile field and imaging room turnover
  • Uphold strict radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique protocols
  • Document imaging data, maintain quality control logs, and interface with EMR systems
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot standard issues, and coordinate with service vendors
  • Support team readiness, cross‑train on relevant procedures, and respond to emergent imaging needs
  • What you bring (Qualifications & experience)
  • Active RT license in your state & ARRT certification (or equivalent)
  • 1+ year experience operating C‑arm and participating in interventional radiology or vascular suites preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS a plus or willingness to obtain
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with attention to detail
