As a Maternal Care Technician working on a busy 28 unit, you will perform specific nursing-related duties in providing for the personal care, vital signs, venipuncture, and ambulating & transporting patients.

You will also perform and support new mothers in newborn care as directed by the Primary Nurse.

When the new mothers and babies are resting or visiting with family, the Maternal Care Technical assists in planning, organizing, and implementing activities occurring on the nursing unit by performing clerical, receptionist duties while maintaining the physical environment of the area.
