1+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures within the scope of practice set by the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
