The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders while developing personalized treatment plans for patients. They will also collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor progress and provide education to patients and their families.

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to float between Elim Wellspring, Princeton, and Milaca Elim Meadows, Milaca! We offer a competitive wage, benefits and mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile). We are seeking an SLP with current CCC-SLP certification.

  • Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.

  • Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.

  • Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.

  • Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.

  • Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
  • Homecare Homebase EMR experience helpful but will train
  • Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain.
  • Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited speech therapy program and possess a current Minnesota Speech Therapist license. Strong knowledge of state and federal home health regulations is required, with experience in OASIS preferred.
