Position
Overview: The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders while developing personalized treatment plans that support each patient’s rehabilitation goals. You’ll work closely with patients and their families to promote independence and enhance communication skills in a home environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide effective patient care using approved therapy techniques and procedures
Evaluate patients’ functional levels, treatment needs, and progress toward goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
Supervise Speech Therapy Assistants (STAs) and coordinate patient care
Document treatments, progress notes, and care plan updates accurately and on time
Assist patients and families in developing and reviewing home programs
Recommend adaptive equipment and evaluate home settings when needed
Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in California with at least one year of experience preferred. The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current CPR certification, and the ability to attend orientation in Yuba City.
