This position requires providing service to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED Required.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic setting preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

Licensure

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials or completion of an approved medical assistant program required. Performs tasks according to scope of practice, documented competencies, and as directed by a licensed practitioner or nurse.Implements age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs as directed by the patient’s medical provider. Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and hold a recognized Medical Assistant certification or be eligible to obtain one within six months. A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred, along with a current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
