• Care: Provides and documents assistance to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Assists/provides patient care throughout the entire patient experience under the direct supervision of the physician and/or the registered nurse. Assists in room turnaround, including appropriate cleaning of equipment, supplies, and environment. Organizes supplies and equipment as needed.

• Expertise: Assists with patient care while complying with Department, Hospital, and Regulatory policies and procedures. Understands concepts of sterile and non-sterile techniques. Adheres to safety measures. The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

• Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment. Please note that the pay rate does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
