We are working with VES (Veteran Evaluation Services) to staff Physical Therapists to provide their services to veterans in our Rockville, MD headquarters. The Physical Therapist is expected to perform the following: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing manual handling techniques, physiotherapy modalities, and evidence-based practices Lead patient rehabilitation sessions focused on restoring mobility, managing disabilities, and improving daily functioning Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to coordinate care plans and ensure seamless patient progress Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation regulations Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches to optimize recovery outcomes Manage rehabilitation services operations, including documentation, compliance with regulations, and quality assurance
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (candidates that are near completion of the degree requirements and will be eligible for licensure requirements will be considered). Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maryland Must maintain license in good standing. Must be CPR certified Valid BLS At least 3 years of relevant experience
