Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) delivers high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices. Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs, and case management. The therapist upholds professional conduct and complies with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy. Key Responsibilities:
Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy
Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program and hold a valid state license. The role requires adherence to professional standards, state regulations, and effective communication skills.
