Assists the physician and provides direct care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Assists physicians with various complicated interventional cases for optimal outcome. Contributes to work operational functions through schedule development, MD preference card management, and maintenance of supplies/equipment necessary for department.
REQUIRED High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs One (1) year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units.
