The Licensed Veterinary Technician will assist with surgical procedures, patient rooming, and performing diagnostic tests such as bloodwork. They are also responsible for providing client education and ensuring the proper handling and restraint of animals.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, properly handling and restraining animals, placing IV catheters, drawing and running bloodwork, client education, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive team player. The veterinary industry is continuously growing and advancing, and at Pine City Animal Hospital we believe in supporting our staff to do the same. Qualifications

1+ year experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (license must be current) Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Experience with proper animal restraint and handling Excellent communication and organizational skills​ ​Passion for working with animals and their owners Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs. Candidates must be available for occasional additional hours to cover for team members or during busy periods. Rotating Saturdays are required. Compensation starts at $20/hr based on experience. Requirements
