Responsibilities

Room patients and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Assist physicians and providers with examinations and clinical procedures Perform phlebotomy, spirometry, EKG, ABI, etc. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply stocking Manage patient flow in a high-volume primary care setting Process referrals, prior authorizations, and coordinate patient follow-up care Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Requirements

Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Prior experience in a primary care or urgent care clinical setting preferred Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and basic medical office procedures Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills including vital signs Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a professional demeanor Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced, high-volume environment About Us: Caremed Primary and Urgent Care PC is a trusted healthcare provider serving the Coram, NY community with comprehensive primary and urgent care services.
