MCHC is looking for a caring, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our collaborative primary care team. In this role, you’ll support providers in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You’ll Do Welcome and prepare patients for visits, collecting vital signs and health information Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice Administer medications and vaccines in accordance with provider orders and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice Perform routine tests (such as vision and hearing screenings) and assist with lab specimens Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Help manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations Provide clear patient education and support as directed by the provider Participate in team huddles, trainings, and continuous quality improvement efforts Occasionally travel to support other MCHC sites as needed Gain experience by cross-training in family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, and specialty services What Makes You a Great Fit Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable, dependable, and collaborative team player Committed to patient confidentiality and quality care Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable using electronic health records and clinical systems We Offer a Cadillac Benefits Package Eligible to apply for Loan Repayment Programs such as AHLRP Tuition Assistance (after 12 months of employment, up to $4,000/year) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with up to 4% Employer Match Paid Time Off (PTO) and 9 Paid Holidays Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
