Dental Assistant

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans Document baseline patient information Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit Take impressions of patients' teeth Communicate effectively and efficiently Maintain a “team first” and “patient first” mentality Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards Required Skills and Abilities Fluent in English; verbal and written Familiarity with dental terminology Ability to travel to other locations as needed Basic computer skills Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required Texas RDA License required after 1+ years of certification CPR and/or BLS certification required

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of completion from a dental assisting course. A Texas RDA license and CPR or BLS certification are also required.
