Social Worker PRN Weekends

Requirements

Current Arkansas Social Work license without restriction. Emotionally mature, objective, sensitive to people and their problems, able to handle responsibility, work independently, and maintain good working relationships with patients, families and coworkers. Bilingual abilities a plus. Excellent computer, phone, reading, writing, and communicating skills required. Ability to organize information, time and workload to optimize efficiency. Ability to work outside normal office hours, including call coverage, and to handle emergencies as required in order to meet needs of patients and families. Good working knowledge of the Social Work scope of practice and regulations. Satisfactory results of a current TB skin test, annual TB fit test, and annual flu vaccine required. Knowledge of dynamics of death and dying, bereavement and end of life issues preferred. Experience in a hospice or healthcare environment preferred.
