Your Role on the Team
Performs specimen processing and accessioning in the Central Processing area of the Main Lab. Main duties include computer data entry, telephone reception, transporting specimens and printing/delivering lab reports. Reviews lab reports and performs quality review and troubleshooting.
What It Takes to be Successful
One year of applicable clinical lab work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Experience with lab/hospital computer systems and software Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval Ability to work weekends, and rotating shifts including evenings, nights and holidays Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization
