The NCA assists with patient care in the cath lab pre and post-recovery bays, including obtaining vital signs and performing site prep. They also facilitate communication between families and providers while maintaining patient room cleanliness and supplies.
Assist with patient care under the direction of LPN/RN in cath lab pre/post recovery bays. Will help prep patients prior to their procedure and then in their recovery post procedure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Assisting with patient ADLs · Obtaining vital signs · Site prep · Checking patients into EHR · Communication between family and provider · Assisting patients with ambulation · Gathering supplies for patient care needs · Stocking and cleaning patient rooms This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary. Education and Experience · Minimum education required – GED/ High school Diploma
The position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to perform patient ADLs and assist with clinical support tasks under the direction of nursing staff.
