About the role

The coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for lung transplant recipients, monitoring their clinical status and laboratory results. They work within a multidisciplinary team to manage the care of transplant candidates, living donors, and hepatology patients.

Overview Serve as primary coordinator for lung transplant recipients Monitor clinical status, identify early signs of rejection, infection. Review, monitor labs. Work with multidisciplinary team in caring for the post lung transplant patient

Responsibilities

Clinical management of general hepatology patients, transplant candidates and living donors from the time of referral through transplantation and beyond.

Qualifications

Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Work Experience 2 years of nursing experience Required 2 years of critical care or procurement experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator Preferred or CCTN - Certified Cardiothoracic Nurse within Cardiac Surgery Subspecialty Preferred or CCPC Preferred Business

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a valid Georgia RN license. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with preference given to those with critical care or procurement experience and relevant certifications.
