Overview The Surgical Technician II functions as a member of the patient care team, under the direction and supervision of the physician and/or registered nurse.

This position provides technical skills in the role of the surgical scrub before, during and after operative procedures, by anticipating needs, preparing, organizing and troubleshooting equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures.

Assists the physician(s) and nursing staff to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, utilizing resources efficiently, communicating effectively, and is proficient in scrubbing Level 6 procedures and below.

Requirements

Candidates must have either an Associate's degree in an accredited Surgical Technologist program with 1-2 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.

The pay range for this job begins at $26.65/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
