Radiology Tech - Full Time (Madison)
The Radiology Tech is responsible for performing radiographs as ordered by physicians and assisting in the Operating Room. They must also maintain equipment and supplies while supporting patient care across various clinic locations.
Description Athens Orthopedic Clinic is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Radiology Tech on a full time basis for the Madison location. Must have ARRT certification. The hours for the position will typically will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but may require varying hours for patient care. This position may require the employee to report to various clinics.
The Radiology Tech is responsible for conducting appropriate radiographs as required by physician order. Candidate should be well versed in use of appropriate equipment to include digital x-ray. Planned care is delivered in a safe, economical and efficient manner following AOC’s policies and procedures, values and mission statement. The Radiology Tech will be expected to assist in other areas of the office as deemed necessary to provide patient care. Is responsible for equipment and supplies and for promoting teamwork among patients, families, and physicians.
Candidates to be considered for this position will be a graduate of an approved Radiology Technology program. Previous experience working in an orthopedic care environment preferred.
