Functions within the full scope of licensure; accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.

Develops, implements, manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.
Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.
Adheres to hospital polices, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes to promote a quality, highly reliable patient experience.
Engages in continuous growth and development in professional practice.
Follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policy and procedures regulated by the State of California.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Urgent Care team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Our providers work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
Teamwork, adaptability, and strong clinical decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based care.
Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic imaging results.
Perform procedures within the scope of practice, including wound care, laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and other urgent care interventions.
Recognize and stabilize emergent conditions and facilitate appropriate transfer to higher levels of care when necessary.
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
Contribute to a positive team culture focused on patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a clinically strong provider who enjoys working in a collaborative environment where patient volume is high, acuity is significant, and no two days are the same. Providers must be comfortable making timely clinical decisions, managing multiple competing priorities, and functioning as an integral member of a multidisciplinary care team.
ER or high-acuity Urgent Care experience is required. Teamwork is key, and success in this role depends on a commitment to collaboration, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

Pay Range is $95.33 to $133.46 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
