Preferred Qualifications
- 2 Years Acute care inpatient experience as a Nurse Practitioner. 1 Year Trauma-Acute care surgery experience as a Nurse Practitioner. DEA Controlled Substance Registration - U.S. Department of Justice

Other Qualification Requirements Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – American College of Surgeons is required within 1 year of hire. The department is required to track and maintain this certification. Nurse Practitioner Certification from American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or America Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) - required. The department is required to track and maintain this certification.
