Responsibilities
- As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well.
- You are the person who can bring their power back.
- In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
- You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
- You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual.
- You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. 2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. 3. They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
