About the role

The Imaging Office Assistant manages reception duties including scheduling appointments, answering calls, and coordinating patient care. They are also responsible for handling medical reports, images, and pre-authorizations for exams.

Job Duties

Imaging Office Assistant will perform duties of a receptionist including scheduling appointments, answering incoming phone calls, making patient reminder phone calls, and follow up on missed appointments. The Imaging Office Assistant will complete detailed work including obtaining outside orders, reports, images, pre-authorizations of exams, coordination of patient care, and other clerical duties as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. General secretarial experience required, healthcare experience preferred. Post-secondary education may substitute for year of experience. Medical terminology, background, and/or experience. Knowledge of medical services coding. 2-3 years' experience

Shift Schedule

Full-Time; Tuesday-Friday, day hours • Tuesday-Thursday

  • 7:30am-5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am-5:00pm
