We are seeking a STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN to join our staff.

Resurgens Fayette is a single-specialty orthopedic surgery practice.

These important job-specific job duties for these technicians may include

Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
Packaging and/or preparing equipment for use
Operating medical equipment as needed
Inspecting medical equipment for functionality and sterilization
Maintaining inventory of medical equipment
Ensuring medical procedure rooms are sterile
Organizing medical equipment
Transporting prepared equipment
Recording test results for sterilization
Using and maintaining autoclaves for sterilization

Requirements

Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience as an Instrument Room Technician and 1 year of central sterile processing in an acute setting. A high school diploma and IAHCSMM or similar national certification are required.
