Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families.
The SDS/PACU RN provides care in the Peri-surgical setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient.
The RN is a resource person and teacher.

Required Education and Experience
Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota Certifications Required at Hire: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Within 3 Months of Hire: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) PALS Additional Eligibility Qualifications Professional written and verbal communication Expertise with computer based data Customer/Client Focus Ethical Conduct Flexibility Initiative Personal Effectiveness/Credibility Stress Management/Composure Teamwork Orientation Technical Capacity Thoroughness Time Management Quality and Safety focused
