The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
This role involves patient care, ensuring safety, performing diagnostic scans, and maintaining the CT equipment.

Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans of patients in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
Ensure patient safety by following all safety guidelines and protocols.
Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
Administer contrast agents when necessary and monitor patients for reactions.
Assist physicians in analyzing diagnostic images.
Provide instructions and comfort to patients throughout the scanning process.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and preparation.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care.
Adhere to infection control and patient privacy standards.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent required. State licensure as a radiologic technologist (if applicable). At least 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferred. Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to put patients at ease. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and assist patients, as required. Ability to stand for long periods and operate CT equipment.
