CT Technologist (WEO)

WakeMed is hiring a CT Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. In this role, you'll use advanced computerized tomography (CT) technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images that help physicians provide exceptional patient care. You'll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate imaging services.
What you'll do
Perform CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout procedures, escalating concerns or abnormalities when appropriate.
Review imaging orders, prepare patients and equipment for testing, and prioritize workflow to support efficient operations.
Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and procedure details within electronic systems.
Maintain imaging equipment through routine checks, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting repair needs to ensure optimal performance.
Who you are
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.
Registered Technologist credential in Radiography (ARRT) or an applicable advanced imaging specialty as required.
Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required according to certification pathway.
Clinical radiology or advanced imaging experience preferred.
