Schedule

Full-time (40 hours/week); 2nd and 3rd shift with some openings on 1st shift. Weekend availability and one double shift per week required.

Earn $28.16/hr as an LPN or $38.67/hr as an RN.

Shift Differentials

$3-$5/hr depending on schedule.

Position Details

Under the guidance of the Program Director, our nurses play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) within the Extended Acute Care (EAC) setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, person-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administering medications and therapeutic treatment orders.

Training residents in self-administration of medications and monitor and document weight, respiration and blood pressure.

Leading and co-leading therapeutic groups, completing thorough documentation and progress notes in the electronic medical record.

Assisting with scheduling medical/dental/vision appointments as needed.

Completing shift notes documenting on each of the 16 residents.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program. Experience working with the adult mental health population is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.
