The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs accurate and timely CT procedures while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection. They maintain effective communication with medical staff and adhere to clinical standards to provide high-quality patient care.

Position Overview The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. CT Scan, UHS Wilson Medical Center Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Compensation Range: $33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience ----- Up to a $10,000 sign on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria. Talk with your recruiter to learn more. Eligible new graduates have the potential for $15,000 in forgiveness. Job Responsibilities Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians. Demonstrates adequate radiation safety practices as it relates to both patients as well as co-workers. Participates in all Radiology Management System functions pertaining to patient procedures. Provides patient education as required. Maintains effective communications with referring physician and radiologist staff to provide for the efficient delivery of CT procedures. Abides by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees or other customers. Adheres to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods and procedures while performing CT procedures. Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and possess a valid NYS Radiology Technologist license and ARRT certification. One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a full-service hospital is required.
