About the role

Provide physical therapy services to incarcerated individuals, focusing on pain relief, health literacy, and functional rehabilitation. Collaborate with correctional facility staff to ensure safe and efficient care delivery while maintaining accurate documentation.

A Little About Us

  • At MovementX, we believe that empowered providers can empower their patients. That is why at MovementX, we’re doing things differently. Our journey began by revolutionizing traditional outpatient physical therapy, creating an out-of-network model that offered unparalleled quality of care to patients and empowered providers with better compensation, autonomous schedules, and reduced burnout. While our out-of-network model thrives, we are committed to balancing accessibility and equality of care for all. A pivotal moment arrived in 2021 when MovementX partnered with a local county jail. This unique opportunity allowed us to uphold our core values by serving a population that otherwise couldn't access our high-tier physical therapy services. What began as a passive partnership quickly grew, as we recognized the profound impact musculoskeletal care could have within correctional facilities. Empowered by a strong referral network, innovative technology, and an engaging team of colleagues, MovementX providers can achieve their full potential as clinicians while giving back to those in need.

Market context

Oregon PT roles remain in steady demand

Physical therapist positions in Oregon are typically driven by ongoing need in outpatient clinics, hospitals, schools, and rehabilitation settings. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for a DPT or equivalent degree, active Oregon licensure or eligibility, and strong patient-care skills; benefits such as dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) match can also influence interest. Review the license timeline and compare setting-specific expectations before applying. Requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, saving you research time.
