Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nuclear Med Tech II, you will be a specialized healthcare professional, vital in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services through the precise application of radionuclides.

Every day, you will expertly perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radionuclides to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners.

You'll ensure appropriate patient care, recognize conditions essential for successful procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate equipment, and adhere to strict radiation safety.

To be successful in this role demands current certification, advanced technical expertise, and an exceptional eye for detail, coupled with a thorough understanding of radiation safety.

Your compassionate patient care and dedication to precise imaging will be essential.

Demonstrates mastery of all Nuc Med Tech I Accountabilities/Responsibilities and has completed a minimum of 1 year service in the Nuc Med Tech I position Performs in‐vitro/in‐vivo studies as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manuals.

Makes determinations of the validity of the data collected before submission for interpretation Mentors new employees and students on the proper use of the camera/computer systems, study procedures Assists with the formal clinical/technical education process of the department by preparing and presenting 2 staff in‐services per year on a topical subject Independently performs all Functions regarding the safe and compliant operation of the radiopharmacy and all associated documentation.

Educates and mentors qualified staff on proper radio, pharmacy procedures Job Requirements Required: Three (3) yesrs of experience in Nuclear Medicine Medical Radigrapher: TX (MRAD) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) OR Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN) CPR-BLS (W/ American Heart Association) Preferred: Associates Degree

Requirements

Candidates must have at least three years of experience in Nuclear Medicine and hold valid TX Medical Radiographer, CNMT, or RTN certifications. A current CPR-BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
