Overview The Office Coordinator and Coder maintains a good attitude, strong, dependable work ethic, and uses excellent communication and organizational skills to oversee office/clinic system, ensuring efficient, effective, and patient-sensitive operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains/updates physician files. Maintains secretarial/organizational skills at high level. Maintains monthly patients/procedure information file for data collections/reporting and dissemination of same to appropriate personnel according to guidelines. Responsible for coding of all surgeries/visits under physician directions Maintains high level of communication skills as well as computer/word processing skills.
Education and Experience Associate degree/medical secretary or 2 years of coding experience Two years physician office experience or two to three years medical related office/supervisor experience
Skills and Abilities Excellent interpretive and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills High level of attention to detail
- Special Physical Demands Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
