X-Ray Tech

Description The Radiological Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the evaluation of disease, injury, and the detection of foreign bodies. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring safety, professionalism, and compassion at all times.

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience

• Previous experience in a Radiology department preferred
• New grads accepted
• Specific
• Skills: Competency in venipuncture and the administration of contrast media (as applicable).
• Computer
• Skills: Proficient with basic computer systems and electronic health records (EHR).

Licensure

• ARRT certified and licensed by the MRTBE (Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners).
• Desire to cross train into
• CT
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification required
