Scope of work Under direct supervision of certified technologist or advanced imaging assistant.
Assists technical staff with providing patient care in relation to their technical duties, which may include assisting with patient prep, transporting patients, and preparing contrast.
They may also assist with the review and completion of medical imaging orders, reviewing consent forms, MRI safety forms, entering necessary information into the computer, screening for medical implants, shrapnel, and wearable devices to ensure safety prior to entering the MRI magnet suit (Zone 4) or scan room.
Required High School Diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience patient care Preferred AHA or ARC CRT Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days required
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have relevant patient care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred and required within 90 days of hire.
