About the role

The Speech Pathologist will provide clinical speech therapy services at the UW Health 9th St Clinic. The role involves participating in ongoing educational programs and maintaining required clinical certifications.

Work Schedule

90% FTE, Monday-Friday varying schedule. You will work at UW Health 9th St Clinic 209 9th St.

Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime: On-call pay

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Required
  • Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs as required. Required
  • Work Experience
  • No minimum experience required.
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Current license from the State of Illinois. An applicant for employment as a physical, occupational, or speech therapists must present acceptable evidence of licensure. A new employee will not be allowed to work as a therapist or assistant until evidence of licensure eligibility is provided. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
  • Has certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible to complete Clinical Fellowship year with proper supervision. Required

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a current Illinois state license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship year is required.
