Pay
Range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location. Assistant at
Vivie, you will: Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility. Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences. Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life. Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces. Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff. Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home. Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
This job also requires: Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Clear and compassionate communication abilities. A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity. Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness. Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living). Ability to pass a state-required background study. Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position. Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
