Provide high-quality maternal care across five rural hospitals as part of a shared regional resource team. Collaborate with local healthcare teams to maintain service access and support families during labor and delivery.
L&D Nurses! Looking for something different?
13 weeks. Five rural hospitals. One incredible opportunity to make an impact.
We're looking for exceptional L&D Nurses to support five Critical Access Hospitals serving rural communities throughout Central Washington. This is not a traditional travel assignment. Instead of being assigned to one hospital, you'll become part of a shared regional resource team, helping independent hospitals in rural communities maintain access to high-quality maternal care.
π° Premium pay $3,528/week (tax-free stipends available to qualifying nurses) π Experience the beauty and adventure of Central Washington β° Overtime generally available π 13-week contract with option to extend π€ Become a valued resource to multiple rural healthcare teams
Can quickly learn new workflows, policies and electronic medical records Builds trust quickly with new teams Brings a team-first attitude to every hospital Provides kind, compassionate and respectful care to families Think critically and adapt quickly Communicates clearly with physicians, nurses, patients and families Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
Required: 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience Active Washington RN license OR eligible multistate/compact RN license. ACLS PALS STABLE Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Reliable transportation Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience Previous travel nursing experience Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
This opportunity is about more than filling shifts. You are helping keep maternity care available to rural families. Your expertise may be the difference between a hospital having the experienced L&D nurse it needs or having to limit services. You'll work alongside dedicated rural healthcare teams who know their communities and care deeply about their patients.
If you're an L&D nurse who enjoys adventure, autonomy, clinical variety and being part of something bigger than a single hospital, this could be the travel assignment you've been looking for.
