Physical Therapy Assistant Part-Time

Description Vertis Therapy is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team serving beautiful assisted living communities in South Bend and Elkhart, Indiana. In this role, you will provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping residents improve their independence, safety, and functional mobility.
Treatment: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve safety, functional mobility, strength, and independence.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Communicate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, response to treatment, and any changes in functional status or needs.

Development: Participate or lead team development meetings.

Programming: Regularly lead community wide wellness programs and events.
Education: Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license or license eligibility.
Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.
