Scrub Assistant Resource- Main OR- FT-1st Shift

About the role

The Scrub Assistant Resource identifies service needs and promotes collaborative practice with physicians and coordinators. They are also responsible for maintaining supply inventory and performing standard scrub assistant duties in the operating room.

Overview The Resource Person identifies needs of the Service. Promotes collaborative practice with Physicians, Coordinators, and Business Manager. Accountable/ Responsible to maintain supply inventory and adjust as necessary. The Scrub Assistant Resource also performs “Key Responsibilities” specific to the Scrub Assistant Job Description.

Qualifications

Education required: High School Diploma or GED required, Successful completion of a Scrub Tech program.

License

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years previous Scrub Assistant experience.
  • Additional skills: Communicate effectively, Time management skills, Self-motivated to stay abreast of new procedure and equipment within the service.
