We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.
What You’ll Do Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed) Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare Maintain accurate patient records in EMR Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed

What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred) RDA or CDA certification (preferred) Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day Manual dexterity required Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally more in patient-care situations) Southern Orthodontic Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
