Pre-Admit Testing RN, PRN

Experienced PAT RN needed on a PRN basis for a high volume, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.

This position is for PRN, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (flexible).

Salary Range

$41.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

Job title: Pre- Admissions Testing Nurse (Full-Time)

General summary of duties

• Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for contacting incoming patients to obtain and review health history.
• Analyze and assess clinical data related to the patient’s anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service.
• Orders additional testing needed prior to surgery when necessary.
• Conducts pre-admission assessments.
• Obtain clearances and testing for procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN License.
• CPR required.
• BLS required.
• Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative or post-operative surgical patient care.
